Ascent Trip ReportDrove about 5.5 hours from the Mackinac Island ferry. Made a short loop hike from the parking lot to the high point back to the lot. Then I was off to Madison for the night. Awesome views from the lookout tower. The surrounding area and most of the area on the way over from the UP was wilderness. Northern Wisconsin has legit beautiful wilderness. |
