Ascent Trip ReportWe took a backpacking trip up this one. Lafayette stands as the most difficult mountain I've ever climbed. Old Speck is close in difficulty. At one point it goes a mile straight up. I remember this ascent feeling like D-day. Be in shape before tackling this one.
