Ascent Trip Report

Easy summit before our Domhütte climb, more interesting than expected.

From NW, Siveiz, chairlift then cable car (from 0830, €49 round trip). Stairway to cross, easy walk to local highpoint, but rock blade 55m N is apparently higher (see GPX waypoint), easy scramble via another slightly lower top. Northernmost top obviously a little lower, not visited. Fine clear morning, great views although Blanc, Matterhorn and Dom summits have small amounts of cloud. Good close view of Grand Combin, looks very impressive.

NB the Mont Fort zipline is highest in the world, longest in the Alps, an alternative descent option instead of the upper cable car.
