Ascent Trip Reportw Monica, Emily, Jeff, Karine, Mike S, Larry, and Julie. Went up Jewell and down Ammonusuc. What a killer day to be above treeline - will have to explain to people at work where I got my red face. Great idea to grab Washington today Emily. Nice job Emily and Julie of convincing everyone too - even if we couldn't actually see Paris. Not sure what Della would do but was nice to have Jeff amd Karine finish what was a super successful winter season (Jeff's third consecutive winter grabbing all 48 in a single season and Karine's first). Always good to see Mike - even if we don't have lots of stuff for him to carry. Got to meet Larry after many emails amd postings. Now all we need to do is institute the Santa rule - he's making a list, he's checking it twice, blah, blah, blah. Monica and I will be back Monroe - you can count on it. |
