Ascent Trip ReportToday dropped a bit to check out valley on the other side of Paddy-Go-Easy Pass - beautiful green valley down there, had to check it. So my gain will show that ups and downs I did.
Then summited N + S. N first, then S.
Super fun rock out here! This is a playground for the scrambler. Sprite is a GORGEOUS lake.
Some downed stuff on Paddy-Go trail, not a biggie. Maybe 11 trees. Hit the pass, L for N first. Stayed on the ridge, great rock, really fun scrambling. Reversed and headed to do S.
Follow main trail to hit Sprite. From Sprite, head up large red boulders right above the lake. hit ridge. head up. For the way down, my friend re-traced his steps and dropped down to the lake. As usual, I decided to see how far the ridge line would go, so I could stay high on the ridge and go back to the Pass the high way. It went excellently, solid fun rock, a bit of exposure but not much, and a cool weird giant hole in the earth, mining? I don 't know. Eitherway, I'd stay on the ridge it was fun scrambling, made me happy.
