Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful trip up and down. We chose to start that the AMC hut then up Manning, then down Clark to Holt... which took us over Firescrew and then on to Cardigan, but avoiding the top steep part of Holt. Weather was beautiful, there was a lot of rain the prior week, so there were muddy parts of the trail, but luckily all the rock was dry. There were certainly places where wet rocks would have made the hike more difficult. Total trip around 6.5 miles |
