Ascent Trip ReportFrom Medina CoHP we went back to 303, traveled east and entered Summit County to the intersection of 303/176. Turned left on 176 and drove .8 miles to the crest-of-the-road, pulled into driveway house #4373 on the right. On the left is a large sign "Summit County Highest Point, elevation 1320", just past is the "Girl Scout Council Camp Helaka".
Area 2 ..... There was no one home at house #4373, I walked around the house and this candidate area is definitely higher than the sign across the street, some of this ground however is not natural.
Area 1 ..... This highground is behind the house to the south of #4373 (forgot to get the number). Again there was no one home so once again I took the liberty to walk the back yard. I found the highground at its very rear at some trees, beyond a fenced-in garden area. My GPS read 41.24919, 81.66090.
"ME THINKS THAT THE MOMENT MY LEGS BEGIN TO MOVE, MY THOUGHTS BEGIN TO FLOW." ....... Henry David Thoreau.
