Ascent Trip ReportThere’s a section of the road that’s pretty torn up from recent logging activity, seems worse than recent descriptions.
Because of the slow progress up the road I got on the trail later than expected but wanted to catch the sunset from the summit. I made it just in time for the last pink highlights of the clouds, but in my haste I tripped and jammed my right hand about a half mile from the summit. Tagged the top and walked out by headlamp. Thought there was a Kaiser facility in Spokane but apparently not an acute care facility. Waiting in the ER of one of their competitors!
