Ascent Trip ReportThis is a wooded hike. Following the road, we saw a well placed sign in a clear parking area. Once on trail, it is well marked with red and orange paint - even with "HP" and an arrow in some places. Once we reached the MD/WVA concrete market, we walked a bit further and found the true high point - a sign! We also found a mailbox and found inside "certificates" of completion!! A quick hike down (we encountered 3 guys on the way up) and we were off to West Virginia. At least this one needed to be hiked! |
