Ascent Trip ReportDrive up on Lost Horn Road with a short woods bushwack ..... 200 yards, 20 minutes RT.
From I95, exit 77 (St George) we motored west on 78 for 6.5 miles to a left turn on Durhams Corner Road (S-18-18), Orange County Line just ahead. We traveled the paved Road south .8 miles to a right on Lost Horn Road (S-18-141) then west 1.3 miles to the high ground, we parked at the dirt track to the left.
PB puts the spot in the center of the road at this junction. higher ground is definitely to the north (right). I stomped around the very flat wooded area 80-100 yards and chose my spot at 40 yards in 33.20570, 80.72710.
From here we moved on to Colleton County.
"HAPPINESS, I HAVE DISCOVERED, IS NEARLY ALWAYS THE RESULT OF A HARD/TOUGH CLIMB."
