Ascent Trip ReportGreat hike up the Azalea Glen Trail to the Fire Rd and on to the Lookout Rd. Didn't see a single person until I hit the paved Lookout Rd, then I saw 10 or so. The paved road sucks because I really don't like walking on pavement in hiking boots. The view from the top is awesome. There is nothing blocking it in every direction if you move around some trees. I found a summit register and signed it. The Azalea Glen Trail is great - very scenic. Pics |
