Ascent Trip Report

Took the climbing route from Glacier Basin. Inter Glacier had no signs of crevasses or moats. The snow was soft and great for kicking steps in the morning, slushy in the warm afternoon. Carried crampons but didn't use them. Glissading conditions were great - heavy snow made braking almost unnecessary, and we glissaded continuously for about 3,000 vertical ft. Took 29 minutes to descend from 9,600 ft to 6,600 ft!
