Ascent Trip ReportStarted from the Frying Pan Glacier Creek/ Summerland trailhead. It was a fairly warm day so we started at midnight and got lucky the snow had firmed up quite a bit. Crossed the Frying Pan glacier up and over the Whitman Crest onto the Whitman glacier. Saw maybe two very small open cracks and followed a boot path up the SE face. Rock scramble was pretty tame. We brought rock pro and rope and didn't use any of it. Definitely more of a type 1 fun kind of day. Glissaded a whole bunch of stuff on the way down.
