Ascent Trip ReportFunny that after 9 mile hike up Mount Rogers, I couldn't make the drive up this one. Driving very low riding car and ruts in ice made me turn around for fear of damaging my car, wish I had kept going but who know what lie ahead with 2 miles of road. Any normal car would have no problem (of course in snow 4wd is required - fortunately i had that). Oh well, next time. |
