Ascent Trip ReportHeaded out thinking to do a leisurely hike to Lamarck lakes. When we arrived at upper Lamarck just after an hour of hiking, we decided to go for mount Lamarck. Clouds blew in quickly while climbing the face just beyond upper Lamarck. By the time we arrived at the base of the summit, temperatures were dropping and snow began to fall.
Long story short, 4ish inches fell during the time it took us to climb the final few hundred feet. The hike back was cold, and we enjoyed some taco bell in bishop as a reward.
Moral of the story, bring warm clothes. |
