Ascent Trip ReportThis was a butt kicker. OTP hike. Went from Rubio Canyon TH to Muir Peak straight up over to Inspiration Point down to Echo on Castle Rock trail then down Sam Merrill trail. Found a turn just past the electric power lines back to the Rubio Canyon TH. Was a cool day for this very exposed hike. This was a pathfinder for me. Totals = 7.7 miles and 3000' gain. |
