Ascent Trip Report

Coming from near Chicago on our way to Big Bend. Got off 44 west in Tulsa on 75/62 south toward Dallas. Then 69 south from Savannah which becomes 75 in Atoka. This takes you into Dallas. Maps took us around Dallas to the east on 635 to 20 west. Then exited 20 at Danieldale Rd which took us to Sorcey Rd where we turned left. Went to Oakdale Rd and then the alley just before 7410 Sorcey. Went to the end of the alleyway, turned right and parked. Got out and went to the southeast corner of lot behind 7410 Sorcey. Did not see nor hear any dogs which many have remarked are there. Maybe they were resting and not bothered by us. Yard is well overgrown with brush and trees so difficult to see highest ground inside the fenced yard. Corner of the lot outside the fence seemed highest in the area.

Like most reports of this spot, I wonder whether getting these city points is worth it. If it weren't a simple turn off the highway and a mere 45 minutes extra, I would likely not have done this one.
