Ascent Trip Report

Very long hike to get here! Over 10 miles to be exact. For a peak with weak prominence, it really had a spectacular view of the Bay Area and Diablo Range. Could hear a lot of target shooting on the ridge to the south. Had one other pair of hikers join us on the summit that came from Sunol.

Very happy to knock off this peak! It’s a big get for Bay Area peaks!

Creeks are running nicely with crystal clear water. Main lot at Del Valle is still locked so had to park outside of it. They are collecting $6 for parking and $2 for a wilderness permit (valid for the year).
