Ascent Trip Report

I did Pinyon Peak and Vasquez as a trail hiking combo. It was a great workout with great views along the way. From the top, you can see all the way to Santa Cruz and from the canyon in between them stand dozens of tall redwoods. My feet are definitely sore today after all the elevation change, but it was well worth it with the wildflowers, wildlife, and sunshine.
