Ascent Trip ReportCompleted Everest by the Bay list with this ascent. This is definitely most challenging in the list. The round trip from Del Valle Regional Park was ~23 miles with total elevation gain of 5900 feet.
The snow capped Sierra Nevada was clearly visible and from top the ridge after Schlieper Rock, I could see Yosemite with distinct Half Dome and El-Capitan. Completed Discovery Peak before moving on to Rose Peak. |
