Ascent Trip Report

Walk the Temple lodge road for 4 km -- I didn't have a bike with me but definitely worth considering. Note that bikes are not allowed on the trail after the lodge is reached. From the lodge, follow well graded hiking trail to Hidden Lake (3 hours from TH). Just before the lake turnoff, there is a half way hut which could be used for emergency shelter. From the left side of the lake, make your way through rubble strewn gullies, some hand holds will be needed here. There was no discernible trail so pick a line to your liking. Once on the ridge, an imposing line of pinnacles forces you along the backside but there are no major difficulties. Once passed the pinnacles, it's an easy hike to the top although snow lingers here well into August as well as a glacier on the north side. Return the same way.

While I did this in a long day, camping at Hidden Lake would definitely be something to consider.
