Ascent Trip Report

Parked at the Drakes Brook trail and Sandwich Trail head. It was only us in two cars but when we came down there were a few more. Used Microspikes up. After Jennings peak cut off could have changes. Some did at the summit of Sandwich but I elected not to since I really needed food and water more. Since two people on snowshoes, I was fine. Great trails. Beautiful in the winter. Monorails have started, so step off the trail you will be post holing either way. No views since it was snowing. Snowed about an inch while we were hiking the entire time. Breaking trail after Jennings cut off due to the new snow. Very windy day so very short time at the top. We had another break down at the Drake Brook Trail junction. Brook crossing was great. No problems. There is a part in the beginning going down at the Junction that you can but slide since it is steep. Before the peak on Noon, there is a look out. There was only snow for a view. No Mount Washington as in the past. If it was a good day you would see it.
