Ascent Trip Report

Parked at the Wind Gap AT parking lot (currently partially plowed with enough room for 3 cars parallel parked). Headed up the AT NObo for 2 miles to the service road that leads to the high point and radio towers. It's then another mile to the high point following the Service Road.

It was 24° and cloudy with new powder from last week. There had been activity on the AT after the last big storm, clearly someone post holed for several miles (good for them, just couldn't do that) and I simply followed that, but broke trail using my snow shoes.

Made it to the highpoint in 1h42m. It's all relatively flat, so there was no discernable highpoint. Made it back to the TH in 1h37m, round-trip of 6.23 miles.

Only saw one other person when I was .5 mile from TH on the return. Besides the solitude, I got to avoid the rocksylvanka feature of this hike.
