Ascent Trip ReportTrail was well packed up until about 2400 feet. And still packed all the way to the summit. Everything went smoothly. The backside of Haystack was in decent shape and certainly distinguishable as well, though there wasn’t a super obvious broken trail straight from the summit to the backside trail. It only took 30 seconds of looking. Perfect blue skies and sun shining down without much wind. Quite cold, but not and issue. I wore snowshoes the entire time, since there was 14+ inches on the side of the trail |
