Ascent Trip ReportMy approach from The Fortress could have been greatly optimized with some studying of the mountain biking trails. I didn't realize how extensive they were, and I was sorry I didn't come more prepared. I think the best route is probably to follow one of the trails to the saddle, then cut switchbacks up the ridge from there. My descent route was relatively optimal, but probably would have been slightly improved by angling more West. |
