Ascent Trip Report

The route to the summit is not the rocky manway so many claim to take to the top. The true summit is about 400 yards further down the ridge line. Although the trail starts a slow descent, it is obvious that the ridge line gains elevation. (It is also easier to determine with a GPS!) A moderate bushwack led to a a narrow summit ridge with serious exposure to the NE. Waist high snow and a wind ladden cornice may have added to my assessment of the exposure. Tight rhodos on the crest with an obvious hump. X marks the spot
