Ascent Trip ReportPublic BLM. Road is good all along Camp Rock Road for a long ways. Most of it can be driven at 40 MPH. Fair number of ATV folks out and about. I took one brief shortcut on the road signed not maintained with a yellow sign but the main road works too. The final bit to the summit is more high clearance, I tend to think you don't need 4WD currently. Drove to the road end at 5960' and then hiked to the highest bump. Can either go directly at a class 2 or loop lower and left and circle back as more of a walkup. Whatever. |
