Ascent Trip ReportPublic. Road is in bumpy but not a problem except for one brief eroded section that unfortunately is quite a ways from the peak at like 3800'. That bit might warrant 4WD while the rest is more high clearance. TH is marked cabled road which I took until reaching the fork. I went left and from there it becomes more boot path than formal trail but easy to follow the whole way to the peak. A little up and down and keeps to the ridge more or less. Pleasant desert and wide views from the summit. Pretty simple. Descended and made it out right before dark. One other party out but I never saw them, maybe they were on the other fork. |
