Ascent Trip ReportParked at the Whiteface Club tennis courts and hiked the Shoreline Owners Association’s (SOA) Lake Trail and then up to Loch Bonnie. Lots of rotten snow, broke through sometimes up to my knee. Also some new blowdown, which made it tough going in a few places. At Loch Bonnie I couldn’t find the trail to continue. I didn’t have a map with the SOA trails on it so I didn’t know exactly where it left the lake area and couldn’t find it through the old snowpack. So I backtracked and decided to return on another day.
