Ascent Trip ReportI had not done my homework and did not know that due to the Covid pandemic "There is NO PUBLIC ACCESS to the Observatory past the gate at the 12km mark. No hikers, cyclists, or public vehicles allowed past this point".
Hiked up the Old Baldy, Vault Mine, and Agua Caliente Trails, up the East Ridge on an unmaintained trail, and then to the summit on the road. Returned via the road and East Ridge, then onto the Agua Caliente, Carrie Nation and Old Baldy Trails. |
