Ascent Trip ReportA short, well maintained and almost fairy tale like, pleasant little trail. Parked at the lot adjacent to The Hub. Disappointed it was closed, as we wanted to check out the food, bikes and atmosphere. Mountain bike trails were closed for maintenance. Took the Jack and Jill hiking trail--very well maintained. Went up to the lookout over Brant Lake (3 big cairns), then a bit further (bear right up "Rick's Run" bike trail) to what must be the "true summit" with the cairn (first went up "Constellation" and realized that was the wrong way). Explored the areas around Brant Lake and the Heintzelman Library after (across from parking area).
