Ascent Trip Report

Hiked from the roadside at about 4400' contour where there is a trail head along Hurricane Ridge Road. Steep trail up the side of the mountain. When I reached the ridge line of Klahane Ridge (c. 5900'), the trail ran out. I contoured towards Mt. Angeles, but soon found any route difficult to discern, let alone where the true summit was. Later I found out that I missed the trail junction (to the left at about 5,300') which led to the base and standard route of Angeles. Oh well. Beautiful scenery.
