Ascent Trip Report

We were able to drive near Bell Lake. We walked on the ice glazed lake to the trail. The first half of the trail was relatively easy to follow, but as we gained altitude the trail was difficult to locate. We ended up bushwacking and ascending the peak on a direct azimuth which led us on some fairly steep ice and snow covered slopes. We camped on the summit that night where we received approximately 5 cm (2.5 inches) of snow. The return home was in all more straightforward where we were able to follow the trail back.
