Ascent Trip ReportMtnrs trip. A warm sunny day on November 1. No snow - 55 degrees. This is a short trip with 2000 ft of elevation in about 5 miles, but it is worth doing. Great views on a sunny day. We went up from the Deer Creek Pass trail head to the east. There is a trail/boot path for the first half of the trip. Once you reach the boulder field it is more of a boot path. There is a fair bit of flagging and a few cairns, although a lot of the flagging is at ground level so will not be apparent once we get some snow. |
