Ascent Trip ReportClimbed up from parking lot, about 2.5 miles round trip. A beautiful open summit with great views all around of Shining Rock, Black Balsam, Cold Mountain, Mount Hardy, Devil's Courthouse, the list goes on and on. Smokies were easily visible, with Mount Mitchell and the Blacks in the opposite direction. Strong breeze blowing. |
