Ascent Trip ReportFrom the parking lot, head north, past the toilets and follow the North Trail. As you round a swampy lake, look for a trail going west (Marker 5). Follow this trail uphill, and stay right at the first junction. In about 1/2 mile, the trail comes to an obvious T, with the main trail bending sharply west toward the beach. Go straight uphill (North) and follow a path of sorts for a few hundred feet. Angle NW through the open woods and then follow trails along the SW ridge to the top. The entire route is in the woods (no views).
If you exit east from the high point, you will descend down a sandy blowout that can be followed back to the North Trail. I then followed the Inner Perimeter North Trail back to the swampy lake and the parking lot.
