Ascent Trip ReportGood-quality dirt roads brought us to the south side of the peak. After passing through a cattle gate near Elkhorn Creek, the two-track road soon because too deeply cut for our AWD Highlander rental car to live up to its name. After scraping bottom several time, we abandoned the effort at about 7,500'. While 4WD was not needed--at least to the point we attained--ground clearance is an issue for this peak. |
