Ascent Trip Report

The Lower Lip, which is higher than the lower, was the last of Vermont's 10 highest named peaks for me. It's not much of a peak, but does rise a small amount above the saddle to the north. To get to the top I doubled back at the saddle and went off trail, making sure to stay on the bedrock and not hurt any vegetation, and loped up to the crest of the lip. There's a good looking cliff feet away from the top on the Stowe side. I then hustled back to meet Jason and continue on to the Chin.
