Ascent Trip ReportUsed the Yozoo Trail #276. Trail is not shown on USGS and USFS topos, but the Gaia topo and CalTopo have it. There's a small, easy-to-miss trailhead on FS Road 78 at about 3700 feet. Trail is very nice and well maintained. Took the trail to it's highest point in meadows at around 5150 feet and hiked cross-country up to the summit ridge, hitting the saddle NW of the summit at about 5500 feet. There's some brush and loose rock, but overall not bad. Ridge route to the top is trivial. The summit itself has a thicket of small trees, but by moving around you can get some views. Adams and the other neighborhood volcanoes are especially nice.
