Ascent Trip ReportWesty and I did Ba Peak at the end of our vacation, because the name is cute. :) The hike up to Louis Lake is really easy. The lake is pretty cool looking. We then stayed left of the lake across some talus, ascended the drainage past another lake (also kept vaguely left), then the drainage kept going and transitioned to a combination of mild bushwhacking, talus, and some scree. Probably a lot of ways up to the east side of the peak. The east ridge is mostly, if not all, class 2. |
