Ascent Trip ReportDrove from Eugene area Thursday after work. Paige Cr (?) campground was full, so we kept going. Found Lily Lake campsites and it was almost empty. Got up early and were at the top of Steens by 7am Still a little hazy from all the fires. Road is in great condition. Tons of wild horses on the road back down towards Fields. Probably saw 200. |
