Ascent Trip Report

This was definitely the trickiest to access of the day's five peaks, and the last one we tackled. From Columbia Hill at the south end of our walk, we proceeded north to just past Nip and Tuck Pass, where we gained the ridge and then contoured over to the spur ridge that leads to this humble peak. It was never exposed or particularly difficult, but the rocky and uneven terrain and the need to bypass the occasional gendarme made for slow going. We didn't complete our day until 8:15 pm, when we returned to the trailhead in the dark, almost exactly twelve hours after starting.
