Ascent Trip ReportLabor day trip, made a loop, up Tate/Ball mountain, then Black Snout and on to Mt Shaw. Total Elevation gain around 2500 ft total trip about 7.7. miles. The path up Tate and then up Black Snout can be quite steep, but nowhere do you need to scramble. From Black Snout to Mt Shaw, the path is old carriage roads, quite flat. The trip back down is steep and the beginning, but again nothing too bad |
