Ascent Trip Report

Highest point in Grayson Highlands State Park, listed at 5088. This is known as Little Pinnacle but is 19 feet higher than the nearby "Big Pinnacle." 10-minute walk from the visitors center, with an outstanding 360-degree view from the rock outcroppings. If you are planning to hike Mount Rogers, Wilburn Ridge, or Stone Mountain from Massie Gap, this will give you a good overview of what lies ahead.
