Ascent Trip Report

From the trailhead at Hurricane Creek, I left the car at 6:30 a.m. and hiked up the Hurricane Creek Trail. Turned left, crossed the creek, walked up the Thorp Creek trail, then took the east ridge to the summit of Sac. Returned to the car the same way, arriving at 4:30 p.m.

This might have been my 10th or 12th time on the summit, and I had never seen anyone else, other then the people with me, until today. The place was a zoo. Five others were either coming off, or heading up to summit today. What a zoo. Met some backpackers who said they were going to summit tomorrow. Gosh. Like Grand Central Station!

I give the ascent quality a 1 due to all the people.
