Ascent Trip ReportWe approached via the Christina Lake Trail from the south end of Fiddlers Lake. Online research had suggested that the road to Christina Lake was in very poor condition. We saw a number of vehicles as we walked by the lake, but there was one Jeep and the rest were ATVs. I can't speak to the quality of the road, not having driven it, but the indirect evidence suggests that it is a difficult drive.
Because I am a slower hiker, we did this as an overnight. We camped where the trail ends at Atlantic Lake. The trail to that point was in excellent condition, and a long day hike ascent would be reasonable for many hikers.
The route we followed, as indicated on the GPS track, is not difficult and goes at class 2. There is some boulder hopping but it is not too bad.
