Ascent Trip Report

Started out as a nice day, but a little on the humid side. Some of our party was late so we took a quick trip out to Mountain Lake. Then up to the Copple Crown peak nice easy walk most of the way, just a couple of places were steeper. Lunch at the top, a quick trip (bushwhack) over to the county high point and then back to the summit. At the summit there was a lightening bolt and almost instantaneous clap, quite scary. Quick trip down with a little rain here and there (not enough for a rain coat)
