Ascent Trip ReportOpen spaces are supposed to be for everyone. Rich or poor, from any background, and regardless if your residence is within the limits of a certain city. Foothills Park is the first place of its kind that I have ever heard about, and I’ve always hated this little park as I drove by to other nearby OSPs. Today, I noticed the gate unmanned so I drove in and almost changed my plans for the day. Upon seeing that I could drive all the way to this little ‘peak’ and how uninteresting the park looked from the car, I simply drove around the high point and continued up the mountain to my original, and much more enjoyable plans. |
