Ascent Trip ReportThis was a great road-running trip with my dog, plus a stretch of bushwhacking that was fun for both of us. The road is paved all the way to where I parked. We ran the road until we saw a natural point to turn off. The first couple hundred yards were a little bit brushy, but then the forest opened up and it was quite easy going. Views of Hood and Jefferson from the summit were outstanding, though we were in a bit of a hurry and didn't have time to soak them in. On the way back, Artemis got a huge kick out of retracing/smelling our steps through the forest.
