Ascent Trip ReportHiked with Nick’s Meanderthals up the Baldy Bowl Trail form Manker Flats to the Ski Hut. After leaving the Hut, we took a side trip off the trail down to the remains of the old mess hall of the Gold Ridge Mine. There are still quite a few pieces of old rusted tins, pails and equipment. It was a great place for lunch with lots of rocks to sit on in the shade and an awesome view. |
